About Broseley Joggers Running Club
Broseley Joggers was formed in 2013 by a small group of people from Broseley and the surrounding areas. They all came with different aspirations and starting points but found the shared passion for running. It is a small, friendly road/cross country club based in the centre of Broseley.
Over the years, Broseley Joggers has maintained that friendly, local and inclusive attitude to running.
We meet twice a week rain or shine and run in and around the picturesque streets, which can take in some of the steep inclines along the way. We aim to cater for all abilities, there’s a run for everyone, and we will always loop for less experienced runners.
In the summer, drier months we head off road into the lovely Benthall Woods – these runs can be exhilarating!
Our ethos is all about having fun, meeting people, getting out there doing the best you can!

Broseley Joggers Behind the Scenes
Broseley Joggers wouldn’t function without the dedicated help of its volunteers and members. At its core, the club is maintained and governed by the club committee and powered by its team of run leaders…
The Committee
All members of the committee are also club members, and volunteer their time and efforts to serve the club.
The Run Leaders
All club run leaders have completed the Leadership in Running Fitness (LiRF) course, run by UK Athletics. In addition, all leaders have passed a DBS check.
