Member Spotlight: Emma Welch

It looks like it’s going to be a fantastic year for our rocket Emma.

Full time mum Emma ran her first half marathon at Silverstone in March having never entered into a competitive running event before. Until this we have watched Emma (usually from behind) go from strength to strength to become one of our strongest runners.

When she isn’t out running, Emma’s usually at home running about after her two young children Oliver and Lacey or spending time with her twin sister Kerry. She’s also a keen horse rider.

Emma has come a long way in such a short time having managed to kick the smoking habit and reshape her silhouette through sheer hard work and determination. This shows in her running success and we know there’s even more to come. Congratulations!
