Christmas time!

Wow this year has flown and we’re already coming up to Christmas again! Just a quick reminder about two of our great events coming up this month.

Christmas social

First up is our always popular Christmas Social at 7.30pm on Saturday 16 December! This year we are having it at the Duke of York Inn in Broseley, where we will enjoy a hot and cold buffet which is £5 per person to be paid in advance please. You can pass it on to Jackie (or Social Secretary) or any of the committee members.

Please put that you are ‘going’ on the Facebook event too and let Jackie know if you are bringing a partner/+1 as we need to confirm numbers.

For those that want to make a late night of it, the Cricket club have a band called Savannah playing and it is £3 on the door entry.

Christmas Eve Fun Run

Second up is the children’s Xmas eve fun run which we as a club are organising. This has been a really popular event when we have organised it in the past so we are really excited to be able to put it on again this year! We hope as many of you as possible are able to join in on the fun – either by booking your children on to take part or by assisting us with facilitating the event. There is always a need for helpers on the day as we need a lot of marshals around the route to make sure everyone are able to enjoy the event safely. Please let one of us committee members know if you are free to help out.
